NOVEMBER 28, 2006

Tara is on house arrest now but was able to attend her baby shower at work this afternoon! We also found out that Brian's work is also going to throw her a shower. We think it will be on Thursday! It is a great surprise!

Jacob and I started Gymboree Play today officially! We went and previewed the class last week. He loves all the balls! Today he actually went through the tunnels! He wouldn't do them last week!

Today was Jacob's First Birthday!


























His parents had a great little party for him. His Grandad, Grams, Uncle Robert, Aunt Nicole, Judah, Mr. Jimmy, Mrs. Shelly, Abby, and Ethan and Nanny were all there. We enjoyed hamburgers and cake!


Jacob wouldn't eat any of his cake, but loved playing in it!

I am at Tara's as I type this post today! We okay Brian, dad and now Brian's brother JD are going to be putting up DRYWALL!!! WAHOO!!!!

I am now the errand girl! hehehee

Tara is doing okie dokie today. I thought I would dust here but she said there is no sense since there isn't anywhere to dust. I did start the dishwasher and once the insulation is done I will work on laundry.

I guess it is time to go to the store or I might wait a little bit closer to lunch so I get lunch when I go so I don't have to leave AGAIN! hehehe!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I hope that all are having a good holiday! We have eaten, kitchen cleaned and leftovers stuffed in the fridges! hehehe

Well, it is a quiet night here! The girls went to spend the night with their Nana. I will get to sleep in till 7 am! Wahoo!!! I was woken up at 3:45 am today. Kennedy's tummy woke her up growling because it was STARVING!!! But I was able to go back to sleep till about 6:15 (well with about 2 or 3 more interruptions).

Both the girls played with the 4 dogs outside today! Hershey and Zeus are visiting while Amber and Jordan are in Texas for Thanksgiving. I am so proud of the girls for getting over their fear of dogs!

Well I am going to take advantage of the quiet and get a GOOD nights sleep!!!

OH! Tara has DRYWALL!!! heheeh! and her church baby shower is tomorrow! She is excited!

WELL, the wedding is done! and it went WONDERFULLY!!! Grant and Kerri had a great turn out!!!!

I am exhausted but surviving so far!

Today was eventful for them though!

Yesterday Kerri and grant planned to drive to Tupelo Mississippi. but they ended up driving to somewhere in Alabama. The spent the night woke up this morning ate some breakfast and then started driving. they get about an hour outside of Orlando (Kerri driving for the first time only about 30 minutes) and they are going up a hill and all of a sudden no power, the car is up to 7-8 RPM's and not moving basically. Then there is smoke billowing out from under the hood. (side note grant just spent $2000 on the car this week)
So they are on the side of the road trying to figure out what to do.


I call Kerri (because I am at Kroger getting breakfast food for the girls) and Kroger has no princess box poptarts. So I needed to know the flavor. That is when she tells me that they have just pulled over.

SO anywho,
a couple pulled over and helped them. It is an older couple he an old navy guy. They put all of grant and kerri's stuff in their van (which they are headed to their FL home from their IL home) and wait for the tow truck. then take grant and kerri to a car rental place stay with them this whole time and don't leave till after grant and kerri have a car (by the way is a brand new RED MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE!) Kerri asks the lady for their address but the lady refuses to give it to them. Tells Kerri and grant to pay it forward and then hands them cash to get themselves some dinner. Kerri and grant try to refuse the cash but the couple would not let them!

Isn't this the greatest!!! WHAT a story to be able to tell!

NOW we just hope that Grant's car isn't totally gone!!!! He bought it used, was told that it was not in Katrina but my mom is really doubting it! But I think grant needs to find out more info on the car and he needs to make sure that the FL dealership knows that his car was in this past week!!!


But there is the story! There really are GOOD PEOPLE in this world!!!

Well it is less than 48 hours till the wedding. Everyone is getting all ready!

Tara has made it to 34 weeks! Although her calculations say that she is only 33. The dr said that she is measuring 35 weeks! The dr said that Bryce is going to be big! hehehe! The dr. also gave Tara the go ahead to do what she wants. but to just listen to her body and not over do it!

There will probably not be another update till after the wedding! Just letting you know! heheh!

Good evening all! It has been a bit quiet but busy here this last week. Tara is still hanging in there. Grant and Kerri are getting everything ready for the wedding which is this Saturday!

I have been cleaning upstairs to get ready for the wedding and our guests.
I also started picking Jacob up at his Gram's on Mondays and Wednesday's after I leave PA job. I then take him home. So I am not getting home till about 7pm each night. But it is all good!

Well about time to call it a night!
